Gold Coast Stingrays Season Launch 2010

The countdown has begun to the start of season 2010... To celebrate the Launch of Season 2010 , the Stingrays are inviting you to a social gathering at the All Sports Club (Glennon Park) on Saturday 21 August at 6pm. 

The club will be providing light finger food and a cash bar will be available. You will also be able to purchase meals on the night if you wish.
Come along and get to know your fellow Stingrays off the field. 
Partners and Parents are also welcome.

Bunnings BBQ - 15th August, help wanted

Volunteers Needed: The next Gold Coast Stingrays Fundraising BBQ is on Sunday August 15 at Bunnings NERANG store. If you can donate a few hours of your day to assisting your club at this fundraising event, then email information@gcstingrays.com to put your name down on our volunteers roster.

2010 Training Dates

The Gold Coast Stingrays will begin training Wednesday 12th May at 6:30pm Glennon Park, Nerang. Training will be every Wednesday night. New players are encouraged to attend!

Quarterback Training Underway

The GC Stingrays have begun preseason Quarterback training on Wednesday nights. Coach Williams (a former Sunbowl winning QB) is leading the sessions. If you are interested in joining, contact seniorcoach@gcstingrays.com

Stingrays 2010 Sign On

The Gold Coast Stingrays Gridiron Team sign on will be held on Saturday 1st May, 3pm at the All Sports Club Function Room, All Sports Club Drive, Nerang.

New players and return players are encouraged to attend to sign on and find out about the 2010 season where the Senior team will look to win there 5th consecutive Sunbowl title.

The day will be followed with some 'Come and try' (non contact)nights which will teach new players about some of the basics and concepts of American Football! The first training session will be in May. More information will be available shortly!

SUPERBOWL 44 AT MELBAS

Superbowl 44 is almost here and the GC Stingrays and friends will be celebrating by watching the game at Melbas, Surfers Paradise. Monday 8th February, 9am is when the action is set to begin. Entry is free but if you fancy an American Breakfast $15 will get you the best.

Watch the game on your choice of over 40 Plasma Screens whilst sipping on some of the USA's finest exports.

Melbas is a long time supporter of the Stingarys and we encourage all to come along as it is a fanstastic day.

Will it be Peyton Manning vs Brett Favre, Sanchez vs Brees? Either way, its sure to be a great game! See you there.

GOLD COAST STINGRAYS 2010 AGM

The 2010 Stingrays AGM will be held on Monday 18th January at 10 Jane Street, Southport at 6:30pm. All club members are welcome. Please advise committee or coaches in advance if you would like to be part of the Club Management Committee for 2010. New committee will be alected at the AGM

The Gold Coast Stingrays 2009 Awards night was held on FRIDAY 11th December at VIBE hotel, Surfers Paradise. A great night was had by all and although most players deserve an award the lucky recipients are below. Stingrays Seniors Minor Premiers 2009

The Senior Stingrays are minor premiers for the 2009 season. They rays are thus far undefeated heading into there final game against the Bruins. The Rays offense have put up 243 points on offense and only allowed a league leading 45 points.

The Juniors rays sit 2nd on the ladder.

Stingrays Awards Dinner

The 2008 Stingrays awards dinner was held on Saturday the 22nd of November at Southport Sharks Function Centre. Over 100 players, families and friends attended the fantastic night.
