FAVOURITE FOOTBALL MOMENT: There are many, I am very lucky. Some of these as a college player, many more as a Stingray and Queensland player and coach. Overall the sense of pride after great games and sharing those moments with your team mates, family and friends.
WHY DO YOU COACH FOOTBALL: For the satisfaction of watching players succeed and being part of a great group of people. In particular I really love the times I call “coaching moments”, which is when a player who has been working on a particular skill or position makes a great play as a result of working hard during practice. You really feel happy for them, it’s a great feeling.
WHAT DOES STINGRAY PRIDE MEAN TO YOU: Stingray Pride means to me giving every effort to make our team successful on and off the field. Always training and competing at a high level. Being there for your team mates through thick and thin. Enjoying the long friendships made and reflecting on the great history of the club. Looking forward to even greater achievements by the club in the short and long term future. We have a great club and you would be hard pressed to meet better people any where. |
